HD Radio

Before I decided to write about HD Radio I thought that one post can give it its right. But after doing some researches, I realized that it can be written in many posts and even be the main subject of a complete blog. The reason is that it is changing almost daily and there are new HDRadio stations announced just about weakly.
Of course many of you are asking what is HDRadio?Well,I got the answer for that. In general HDradio is a technology that enables AM and FM radio stations to broadcast their programs digitally. To be more precise HD radio technology does for radio what high definition does for TV– it makes it just one heck of a lot better, crystal-clear, bright, clean and interference-free. This technology have many more benefits. For example it gives you plenty of choices and new data services. There should be a whole slew of new HD Radios available soon. Those HDRadios will have more options than the ones found now.You can visit http://www.hdradio.com/ to know more about those options.

Despite of what was mentioned, the fact that stations are converting to HD Radio technology a lot faster than manufacturers may put a dampener in its popularity.

According to http://www.hddigitalradio.com/, there are currently 605 broadcasting HD radio formats in 68 markets throughout the nation. Of the 56 percent of the surveyed stations that currently broadcasting in HD, 39.3 percent responded that they adopted the new technology because it offered a “higher sound quality” and 28.6 percent said it’s because HD is the “wave of
the future.” Of the more than half that think HD Radio will impact the radio broadcast industry; 27.8 percent respondents say the sound quality would especially impact AM radio. All those facts prove what i mentioned in the beginning of my post.

If you decided to not buy an HD Radio technology receiver, you will always be able to listen to your favorite AM and FM stations just as you are now. But if you are interested in buying it you may be able to find one at your neighborhood. If not, there are several sites on the Internet where you can you can buy this technology and compare prices for several different sources. Among these are http://www.nextag.com/ and http://www.buy.com.if/ you want my advice, enter one of those sites and buy it now.At least thats what i am gonna do after I realized how great this technology is and what benefits it is capable of giving you.
