Another subject related to radio technologies is Underground radio. According to http://www.answers.cpm/ underground Radio is the third EP released by Swedish punk rock band Bombshell Rocks . This 1998 EP was their first signed to a record label other than their own.
In fact, there are millions of stations using this technology. One example of these stations is 3wk that features the best underground Indie Rock, Classic 80's/90's Rock, and Classic Rock music. Another example is weather radio station that gives you the weather all over the united states .
This technology is not new but it is being up-to-dated specially in the last few years.
